HI im NOVA
I'm an Edmonton born but Jamaica raised rap artist and singer. I've been everywhere on this underground rap movement having toured Canada, U.S.A and Europe and having lived in Edmonton, Negril, Toronto and New York trying to get my name out there as a solid and independant musician.
My newest release 'Insufficient Funds' is the ballad of an almost famous rap artist put to live guitar and boom bap drums with accidentally gangster and emotional lyrics that tell the story of a rising star - the successes, the failures, the pain and the grind. It rips at that glorified perfect picture that many artists try to paint and pulls the curtain off the entire charade. It's 90s rock influenced and similiar to Tech N9ne, Gym Class Heroes, R.A. The Rugged Man and Travie McCoy.

FINAL WORD
I'm already working on my next release 'Accidentally Gangster' and in the process of releasing a multitude of videos and touring the world - my life is absolutely insane and I can't believe any of it. I'm my manager, the talent and the promo crew. I don't have a team or any money behind me and everything I've achieved has been due to my hard work and dedication. Sometimes my dream looks like a nightmare but at the end of the day nothing feels better than connecting to a crowd or hearing my song on the radio.
